W.I.L.D. CIC Forest School Volunteering

“I started my Forest School journey by volunteering at sessions Gill was leading at a local outdoor nursery.   Volunteering gave me the opportunity to observe and experience the incredible benefits of Forest School first hand. Just like the participants, I learned loads each week. I gained confidence in my outdoor skills & resilience, built on my nature knowledge and soaked up the Forest School ethos…and I got to play ALOT! ”.

Volunteering is a great way to engage with your local community. It can bring mutual benefits to volunteer and organisation, a symbiotic relationship where one can gain confidence, meet new people, learn new skills and have fun!

W.I.L.D. is a not for profit organisation and are passionate about engaging with local people who love nature as much as we do! We will provide a volunteer induction training and ongoing support.

Please note that we are currently operating a waiting list for volunteering opportunities.  If you are interested in volunteering with us please get in touch via email, phone or social media.
